Tariq El-Titi is a British Palestinian with over 10 years of international experience in the Telecommunications and Healthcare industries. His career spans Senior Management roles in London (UK), Vienna (Austria) and Dubai (UAE). He is a Business graduate from the Westminster Business School in London, and a qualified Chartered Accountant from the United Kingdom (CIMA).
Tariq held various Financial Management positions in start-up U.K. & U.S. Telecoms companies in London (Telemonde Ltd, iaxis Ltd) and in Vienna (Dynegy European Communications GmbH). He
played a pivotal role in the successful sales of iaxis Ltd to Dynegy Inc. of the USA in 2001 and Dynegy European Communications GmbH to Klesch & Company in 2003. During his tenure at Dynegy Inc, Tariq rose to the role of Group Financial Controller, with full financial responsibility for all its European Telecommunications businesses.
Tariq relocated to Dubai to join the Government of Dubai´s, Dubai Development & Investment Authority (DDIA), responsible for working on a number of key strategic government initiatives. In 2005 he was appointed to lead the Customer Operations unit at Dubai Healthcare City (a member of Dubai Holding), responsible for managing a growing portfolio of over a hundred Healthcare investors and operators. In his previous role at DHCC, he was Senior Manager of Business Development focusing on incubating new innovative healthcare start-up ventures.
